Biggest Christmas Gifts this Year

The biggest Christmas gift I received this year is my parents being an awesome example of Christ's love and living out that love on earth. My parents are amazing and this Christmas Season our family has been blessed with a house full of dinosaurs and toys and singing and sledding as we now have four new additions thanks to God's grace and my amazing parents! The house is filled with Dinosaurs and Transformers and puzzles... These sweet little kiddos are changing my life and I am so glad that they are here!

God knows what he is up to even when things seem wild and confusing.

Reunited At Last

Hans and I were apart for a bit because of my tonsillectomy but NOW we are back in the same place and SO HAPPY to be hanging out again! It was maybe a week that we weren't hanging out but it seemed like so long! I was reunited with my amazing husband a week after my surgery and since then we have been happily spending LOTS of time together! We still haven't celebrated Christmas yet but I think we will be doing that tomorrow! We will also be spending the day with our brand new little brothers! We have four of them now thanks to God's amazing grace and my amazing parents! And tomorrow we plan to color and play games and have a fun day with all of them. That and I plan to sleep.
I am seriously still not recovered from the tonsillectomy! I did visit the doctor today though! He told me that my pain will continue for a while but that I look like I am on the way to a full recovery! Yay! I love my husband!

Tonsillectomy

Well I had my tonsillectomy about a week ago and have basically been in agony ever since. Yikes I did not guess having these things removed would be so painful. Apparently it was really good that I had it done. I have had really bad tonsil stones for a long time now and the doctor was shocked by how many tonsil stones filled my tonsils. He said they would have caused me problems into my eighties. And that was just if my tonsils were to never produce any more tonsil stones ever again which is not likely. Just to explain the tonsil stones were so bad that they had been making me vomit and causing other really inconvenient issues for me. (So the tonsils REALLY needed to be taken out.)
So days 5 through now have been the worst. All the days have been pretty awful but I am not exactly the happiest of campers. I am hoping that there is a light at the end of this tunnel and I am hoping it is soon! The medicine has made me dizzy and I am hoping I don't puke tomorrow. That is my big goal...

Dying During Dead Week

Whoever cruelly named this time of the academic session "dead week" either had a sick sense of humor or they did not attend this University. In this week I will submit 45% of the work towards my final grade in one of my course. I will also be submitting a significant amount of work for my other courses as well as memorizing a few of Shakespeare's sonnets. To be honest this is not the most challenging quarter I have ever been through but I think the stress and gravity of each assignment's importance increases the closer to graduation I get. Dear me. If I get five hours of sleep tonight it will be the most sleep I've gotten in too long. This weekend I intend to sleep for at least 9 hours one night.

On some other notes I have gotten into the whole craze of pinning on interest, instagraming (is that a word?) and tweeting on twitter. Twitter has become a nice little stream of random blurbs that I anticipate no one in the cyber world reads... Yet those little blurbs... like these are nice to get out. I've also found that twitter gets me editing more regularly. When only 140 characters are available editing is essential. Unfortunately the reason I even began the twitter account was as an excuse to procrastinate for a project. Dear me. Note to self: gain some self control and get some sleep.
